Candace Suggs, O.D.

Candace Suggs, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston in 2017 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Florida.  She specializes in myopia management and specialty contact lenses.

Following her strong interest in understanding the complexity of the eye, Dr. Suggs chose a career in optometry.  She has always found it very gratifying to help others.  She enjoys using her strong problem-solving skills to help patients get the best out of their vision, especially those who come to her after their vision problems weren’t able to be solved by others.

When Dr. Suggs is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their dog.  She also likes to lift weights and supports the University of Florida Gators sports.
