R. Kevin Quinn, OD
Dr. R. Kevin Quinn is a Certified Optometric Physician and a native Floridian. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Ohio State University College of Optometry. In 1995, Dr. Quinn returned to Florida where he has practiced optometry and cheered for the Gators ever since.
In 2006, Dr. Quinn established the private practice of Quinn Eye Center with the goal of providing the highest quality eye care using the most advanced diagnostic technology currently available. In his free time, Dr. Quinn and his family support the University of Florida and all of their athletic programs. Dr. Quinn also enjoys biking and travel, but most of all, spending time with his wife and twin children.
Stephen B. Hedges O.D.
Dr. Hedges earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and then went on to attend Pacific University College of Optometry near Portland, Oregon. After graduating, he was lucky enough to come back to Gainesville to continue to pursue a career in Optometry. He joined Quinn Eye Center’s Optometric staff in 2014, where he previous worked as a Technician prior to attending Optometry School. Dr. Hedges is a friendly, outgoing person who truly believes in educating patients concerning their vision. He spends the extra time required so patients fully understand their ocular health and how it can affect their general health.
Dr. Hedges lives for spending time with his family and also pursuing a passion for food, music and making memories with people. He is excited and privileged to meet and take care of patients each and every day.
Candace B. Suggs, O.D.
Candace Suggs is a North Central Florida native and alumna of the University of Florida. After completing her undergraduate degree, she went on to graduate magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Following her departure from Texas, she became reunited with Quinn Eye Center in 2017 where she had previously worked as an Optometric Technician and Receptionist. Dr. Suggs is eager to get to know her patients in order to personalize her optical, nutritional, and medical recommendations to fit their unique visual needs. Clinically, she has developed a passion for managing corneal and ocular surface disease by fitting conventional gas permeable and scleral contact lenses. Her passions include faith, family, food, and football. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband Chris and their rescue dog Nugget.
Diane spent the first two decades of her career as a Human Resources executive in the corporate arena. As the practice continued to grow, Diane joined Quinn Eye Center in 2010 as Practice Manager with the responsibility for business strategy, financial management and daily operations. With a Master’s Degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Diane draws upon on her educational and corporate experience to ensure the optimum patient experience for those that trust us with their eye care needs. In her spare time, Diane enjoys interior design, movies, and travel, but above all, spending time with her husband and twin children Preston and Leighton.
Patient Services Supervisor
Debbie began her career in the Optometry industry in 2001 after spending 20 years in the broadcasting. She joined Quinn Eye Center in 2011 as a patient Care Coordinator and was promoted to Patient Services Supervisor in 2014. Her primary responsibility and greatest joy is providing excellent service to the patients who visit us for their eye care needs. In addition to her role as Patient Services Supervisor, Debbie also works in the Optical Department helping patients discover the perfect frames for their lifestyle. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys quilting, reading and spending time with her family and husband TJ.
With almost 30 years in the Optical industry, Manny has vast experience in all facets of the optical field including fabrication, purchasing, dispensing and management. Originally from Miami, Manny attended the Miami-Dade College of Opticianary and received his Florida Optician License in 1993. Manny joined Quinn Eye Center in 2006 upon its opening as one the first two employees. In 2010, Manny was promoted to Optical Manager and is responsible for overall product selection and purchasing. In his free time, Manny enjoys spending time with his two children and his many pets. Manny also enjoys fitness and is an avid cycler.
